Wladimir Klitschko vs. Eliseo Castillo

My expectations for the "Klitschko vs Castillo" fight where not very high. Unfortunately the fight barely was worth watching. Of course Klitschko would pick a easy target for an attempted come back, but this turned out to be ridiculous. I know, I know - Chris Byrd was supposed to fight Klitschko, but isn't it funny how some things just don't work out! Isn't it funny how Castillo (an easy target) practically doesn't throw a punch and then gets knocked down in the fourth round! And then to top it off, the ref calls the fight after the knock down when it appeared that he hardly checked Castillo. Castillo was definitely wobbly and probably would have went down again but I thought the ref could have let him go just a little bit longer or at least checked him a little better before calling the fight.

What's next for Klitschko? With such an indecisive win and the two prior loses, I feel he's still on the brink of loosing all credibility as a possible heavyweight contender. Many would say that he's a contender now - which I might not argue with - but in my humble opinion he still needs to prove himself. Right now all he has is his size and a very heavy punch. Does he have a glass jaw? Put him in the ring with James Toney or Chris Byrd and we'll find out. Can he go the distance? As much as I hate to say his name, put him in the ring with John Ruiz and we'll find out.

W. Klitschko is still untested!
